Wake up! All this nonsense ends May 29th 2015. I have it on good authority Felix Obuah (Go Round) is already on the run. Everything that has a beginning has an end. When Wike started all this he never dreamt of Buhari entering Aso Rock but he was already neck deep before the governorship elections. While you guys rant here on Nairaland the man himself knows what fate awaits him after May 29th. The party is over.

Amaechi is naive, Wike could come in and disband all LG and appoint Lg sole administrators until he is ready to conduct a proper LG elections as a governor.
Secondly all the governor might decamp to PDP to avoid Wike wahala. Amaechi just used this exercise to embezzle money, Wike will make him account for soon as he is sworn in.

Nigeria is moving away from banana republic after May 29th. The elections were legally held with full security and no single gun was fired. Wike even when sworn in can't do what you think. Even when Amaechi tried it with Nsirim the courts ruled in Nsirim's favour. As long as a well constituted body conducted the elections in the full glare of the public there's absolutely nothing anyone can do about it except of course only on Nairaland. Wike is just unlucky Aso Rock refused GEJ another 4 years.

Keep on deceiving yourself, PDP claims to be in charge in Rivers because Jonathan, Mama peace, Khan (INEC REC) manipulated everything in their favour, the LGA election would have been a better place to confirm the over 1.4M votes declared during the Presidential/National assembly elections and the over 1.2M votes declared in the Governorship/State House of assembly election. Election is not war.

Mogidi:

The biggest party boycotted the election, safe to say no election took place then. It was an APC election for parallel local govt chairmen, dead on arrival.

Oya, Oga Wike repatriate the chairmen to Abuja, they don't belong in the SS/SE.

Dont forget Pdp is no more on the top, the LGA chairmen will not give up their manadate, Wike has to go to court, and what grounds will he demand to warrant cancellation of election, if he is not careful thunder can strike him at the court which can say for the sake of free play both governership and LGA should be rerun, let everybody beware that the courts have given manadate for the election to go ahead and INEC is pleased with the outcome and with Apc in control it is very foolish for Pdp to believe they will get a favourable outcome from the courts. This exercise was planned and sanctioned from the very top level of Apc it is payback to Pdp in Rivers state, it has been done to totally destroy Pdp structure in the state and unfortunately Pdp fell for it and boycotted the elections
