1.Does the University Of Ibadan (UI) accept 2 sitting? YES 2. Does the University Of Ibadan (UI) accept awaiting result? The answer is YES. However, your awaiting result must be out before the deadline to given by the school after your post UTME registration. 3. Is the University Of Ibadan (UI) post UTME oral or written? Normally, it was formerly oral, but since two years back its has been written. These recent written examination has 25 questions each from your Jamb combination, making it a total of 100 questions. 4. What is the purpose of UI post UTME? It is to test the ability of student in their relevant field of study. It is also the performance which will determine your chances of been given admission into UI. 5. How do I know my UTME combination for my course? Please, don’t hesitate to Check your jamb brochure, or check the school website for the requirement of your course. 6. When is Direct Entry form out? It always out after the post UTME registration for Jambite. 7. I want to do change of course? If you have already registered for jamb, then if you want to proceed with Jamb change of course can only be done after the release of your jamb result, its attract a small amount of Money. The UI acceptance fee in recent time is Ten thousand Naira Only while the school fees too in recent time is between (Eighteen Thousand Naira To Twenty One Thousand Naira Only.) 18k TO 21k. (excluding accommodation) depending on your department 9. How do i calculate my cut off mark? Note that calculating your cutoff mark, depends on which method UI is going to use in the particular year admission process. For Example. In the 2012/2013 examination admission, UI use only Jamb result (with O’level for some candidate) while in 2011/2012 UI uses O’level result with Jamb score. Your O’level result represent 60%. While Your Jamb score represent 40%(divide your Jamb score by 10). 10. How do i Calculate my O’level result? You are to just add up your 5 subject in your O’level RESULT, that are related to your course. For Example. (A1=6,B2=5,B3=4,C4=3,C5=2 ,C6=1),then multiply it by 2. For Example. Mathematicis: A1=6. English Language: B2=5. Economics: B2=5. Government: C6=1. Literature: B3=4. Now, the Total is 21. 21 X 2 is =42. 11. What is the CUTOFF mark for my course? Kindly note that the cutoff below is for the 2011/2012 admission exercise for different departments.
