The School authourity of the better by far university of ilorin has postponed some of their 2015/2016 2nd semester examinations, due to fuel scarcity coupled with non-availability of electricity in the school. The school authority made this known to the general public via the school website with the communique reading thus:

"This is to bring to your notice that the
commencement of the rain semester
examination for the 2014/2015 academic
session scheduled to begin from the 25th
May, 2015 has been postponed to
Wednesday 27th of May 2015."


Meanwhile, the Students' Union President, Comrade Ahmed Ishowo, was seen moving from one lecture theatre to another around 9p.m yesterday, informing the student about the latest development before the school authourity later announced it via the school website. Students that were found reading with their lamps and torchlights shouted for joy on hearing the news.
