Do you know the task of the first minister, you run the government , everything passes through you. You become the prime minister while the president is the powerhouse and figure head.

All of Jonathan's economic failures lands with her, she had the authority access and (we were hoping she would utilize) ethical obligation to correct any wrong advice given to Jonathan by evil cabals but alas she did not , do long the interest of IMF and world bank were served.

She might have been decent once but that was no more.

Did I hear you say "economic failure..." Please check your statistic properly. It's either you are not properly informed or you don't do research

Don't be too myopic, Nigerian economy has soar well... Do your findings well!

Under our Ivy-schooled Finance Minister's watch, Nigeria's debt profile has escalated into heaven, the Value of the Naira sunk into the pit of near-worthlessness, Unemployment galloping higher on the streets, but totally comatose on Okonjo's witchcraft paper, Oil revenue wasted unconscionably, and ridiculously huge sums of Money somehow growing legs and trekking out of Nigeria to God-knows-where undecided angry

So, we don't need a posh degree in Economics or Financial Astronomy to know that Okonjo the Mojo has outlived her usefulness in Nigeria, and has even become toxic to our national health cry

like Soludo revealed, she was a secretary(administration ) at the world bank and NOT an economist.

She is actually saying the truth, to run the nigerian economy is not easy, the pressures are too much.

2.9 trillion is missing, they will blame okonjo iweala

No fuel, they will blame okonjo iweala

no work, they will say okonjo iweala has come

the weather is cold, they will say okonjo iweala has removed the subsidy of the weather

even garri, o my garri101, since the price of garri has increased, they are still blaming okonjo iweala for it.

Infact, the trouble is too much, even the next minister to come will still suffer the same fate, it is not a behaviour, it is a tradition.

The truth is that nobody can be earning salary from tax-payers money and escape criticism. Where were you before the election when she was telling us our economy was the best? However, who forced her to take up the job knowing how voluminous the job is? In fact, she is the one causing failure for Jonathan's administration as far as I am concern because this woman was just playing on Jonathan's intelligence.

She has sound economic principles which were implemented at World Bank and worked.

An Economic minister cannot do the work of the Auditor General, or EFCC / ICPC boss.

If only the masses had agreed in the fuel subsidy removal which you canvassed.

If only the state govs had agreed not share the excess crude oil money.

If only your boss had surrounded himself with sane minds like yours in his cabinate.

If only your boss had not allowed his wife to meddle into the countries politics with her half baked knowledge.

Things would have been better. Just give us a bow and come back holding your head high.

And if only you had RESIGNED that ugly fat cheek and return to your clerical job at the world bank. Oloriburuku woman!

In Africa and the world at large, please what is the rating of Nigerian economy? Is either you don't understand the meaning of economy or you're myopic.

Nobody have said we are where we suppose to be, but the reality on ground is that our economy has grown in this few year

If you have problem with that, then you are looking for milk where you did not keep any!

Is it the rebased economy that has to borrow to pay salaries? Is it the economy that is on bad roads or the one that has many hungry people.
If you want me to look at the world bank report and say our economy is fine then you are a joker or does not know how those report are conjured.
Stop looking at this matter because you name is Udeh.

Nigerian Economy has not soared , Nigerians have just done what we've always done and by chance some money is moving around.

What is happening is the growth of the SME sector due to the natural enterprise of Nigerians ,it has not been galvanised by government and whatever government influence there is is small.
The rampant corruption which has gone on over the last 16 years has enabled many people who have benefited of it to have access to a greater amount of disposable income which they use to patronise the SME mentioned , how many people have been lifted out of poverty , has the educational sector been improved , has our poverty index changed has the employment rate changed !, what is our debt base reduced ( we know this is massive at the moment).

The Fiscal situation in Nigeria is dire , all you see is the fact you have a decent paying job and are satisfied with the security there in.

The other sector is Lagos , the influx of multi nationals doing business in Lagos who have brought capital into the Nigerian system, but how much employment have they been able to produce.

Look Nigeria is a country like no other in Africa , our population is too big to be doing things the ordinary way we need to expand at a gigantean rate to meet expectation.

Who cares about her world bank policies. I care about her 'Abuja policies'....which has landed Nigeria into $63billion debt with nothing to justify d debt ( after a period, Nigeria earned the highest revenue EVER from crude sales over 5 years period. Very sound economist she is.
