Hearing the momentum has shifted to Chad's Finance Minister Kordje Becoumbra because of some geopolitical deal between the Nigerians and the Chadians, the Non Regionals have thus shifted their support to Cristina Duarte the Cape Verdian Finance Minister. High Level Intrigue going on in Abidjan

Nigeria is the largest shareholder but there's an unofficial rule that major economies, Nigeria, SA, Egypt do not head continental organisations, SA broke that rule with Diamini Zuma for AU chair and I doubt the smaller countries would want another big country to take the other top continental position

So? Well it seems like the top financial position in Africa eludes Nigeria for the third straight time, with its potential to attract development funds to Nigeria

So france is openly meddling like this now. Well I don't blame them. Francophone countries are feeding them by buying arms. Francophone countries need to start behaving like they are independent and not slaves by shaking of France. Let France go and think of something new to produce to feed themselves.

Let the best man win. I hope the countries vote for who is capable of moving Africa forward and not sentiments or directives from colonial powers of faded and disastrous glory.

France dictating matters again for her puppets.
I think taming the rampant french interventionism in west africa should be a major focal point of buhari's foreign policy , even it means overthrowing tyrannical govts in west africa .
We can't continue like this.

I have to agree, the way the French control their puppets, just summon them to Ely see Palace and they follow their orders....
