I am not unaware of the predicament posed by Nigeria's reputation out there among other nations, I only wish to know if anyone has gone round this problem yet - being able to successfully make purchases on the internet through clickbank or paypal.

Anyone with info on what to do should please respond.

Thanks

at the moment i don't think its possible but paypal will be allowed soon in Nigeria but I doubt if click bank will ever allow transactions from Nigeria. if you need to pay for anything oversea the best and safest option is still wire transfer. at least they all accept that method of payment.

It is quite unfortunate that penpal accepts Mastercard issued by banks in the war torn country of Niger, Benin while Nigeria as a country is not listed there, no thanks to our "GOOD" reputation.

Bros, lets wait may be the Nigeria re-branding project embacked upon by the government will work or it is another highway to chop money. Time will tell

From my experience, the best, fastest and safest way to go around this predicament, is through western union. Although you can't do it from Nigeria, but can send from Cotonou or Lome.

@fogman

Let us hope for the best that our rep will improve before them out there.

Until then the limits are there in making the best of the global village.

@ kablooee, Normally when sending western union from Cotonou or Lome, you pay in CFA and the transfer fee is 9000 CFA and tax is about 1000CFA. Note the transfer fee is same, not withstanding how much you are sending. Also there is a maximum fee you can send per each transaction.
