Nigeria is on the eve of a historical change in governance but permit to quickly hit the final nail on one of the factors that led to GEJ losing his re-election .
HOPE. Yes hope he failed to give Nigerians hope, even if it was a false one,he failed to entice us with sweat words of hope that things would get better.if you still don't understand me let me quickly enlighten you with the words of Desmond tutu he said “Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness".
He failed to do what Nelson Mandela did during the apartheid days
He failed to do what Martin Luther king Jr did in Selma.
He failed to do what Mahatma Gandhi did in India
He failed to do what Malcolm x did
He failed to do what Ojukwu did even though it was a false hope.
He failed to give us hope that there is a light at the the end of the tunnel
He failed to tell us what we really wanted to hear “words of HOPE".
They may be freedom fighters but they gave their followers hope.
This is what Buhari is doing, giving us hope, telling us what we want to hear. This hope maybe false hope or true hope only time will tell and that is why we must be prepared for what awaits us good or bad to remember the words Martin Luther king Jr that “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope" and the words of Thich Nhat Hanh “Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today". This is the difference between a leader and a politician, between GMB and GEJ.#anewnigeriaawaitsus
