In as much as I don't like Mugabe; I think Sahara reporter crossed the line; he was a visitor in nigeria or do they think they have better opinions than the citizens of his country? They are the only one who can rise up and vote him out or in;

You are 70% right. Seriously SAHARA REPORTERS did it in a wrong way.

Very correct. it shows how uncut the whole show looks and it is an embarrassment to our beloved country. The protocol was also terrible, visiting head of government should not be exposed to such nonsense. The crowd around the VVIP section was too much, it should have been restricted..... again no matter what, President Robert Mugabe should be respected and accorded full compliment as an African Icon. Any body that wants Mugabe out of power should go and contest election in Zimbabwe and stop harassing the Old man.
What has mugabe done for africa's devt?
Who has mugabe helped?
Even abacha the serial kleptomaniac had a more profound effect on africa in his relatively short stint as dictator.

Blame APC for that... They empowered and emboldened Sahara Reporters to attack sitting presidents. Their success with Jonathan probably emboldened them more.

We will blame your mother instead. When Sahara started harassing and exposing corrupt leaders that kept your fingers perpetually glued to your keypads in their defense there was nothing like APC. Tinubu, one of the arrowheads of APC have severally had his baptism from the same Sahara.

If you're happy with seeing Africans die while trying to cross the Mediterranean (in view of economic crisis in their home countries, et al), then go for folks like Mugabe. Across African, we need vibrant intelligent leaders that can turn around the lot of the continent. Mugabe has done enough and we need to rid ourselves off people like this, anything other than this is the continuation of the suffering of the black people across the divide on the African continent.

Somewhere at the end, I heard someone say "Where's that Zuma?" grin grin grin grin grin I swear that got me laughing the whole day. "Where's that Zuma?"

Sahara Reporters are a big disgrace to Nigeria and journalism. They have ridiculed democracy. No matter what they have no right to embarrass guests. Anyway, they are APC sponsored. Rubbish!

That lady is unprofessional and left for me, she should be FIRED. This is crab journalism. After her interview, her comment clearly portrays a personal hate for the old man. A reporters personal opinion should never come up in journalism. It was an attack not an very very unprofessional. We all know that Suleman of channels tv is an apc fan but he hides his personal opinion @ least to some extent when he is on set. What happens if one of these days he comes out openly on set? That will be unprofessional. Journalism should be about bringing out the ills or praise and letting the people make a judgement for themselves beside Mugabe was a guest in Nigeria. If in that crowd something happened, wouldn't Nigeria be held responsible? Common sense is necessary for everything.

Professor Moyo the Zimbabwean Minister of Information has been outraged at the treatment Pres Mugabe received in Nigeria! Well, Nigeria is definitely a rising super power! Well done to GEJ for making our press and media bold! Africa must rise up from its timidity and challenge the hawks that have kept them enslaved and backward for to long. If Zimbabweans can speak out we will help them. Great job Sahara Reporters. Shame on you and your government Mr. Minister of Information!

Saharareporters simply went overboard! That's "journalism of assault" and should be frowned at. Last i checked, he's still the president of Zimbabwe and deserves some respect.

Lose their jobs?

The founder of SR was the main culprit at the event. He was the one shouting and harrassing Mugabe when he entered the car.

He chose a female reporter to gain access and then piggyback to Mugabe. A male reporter would not have been allowed to get that far.

When SR founder harassed a Nigerian minister at a townhall meeting in US, he was hailed.

Now he's taken his "home bad behaviour" outside people are beginning to notice.

He had better be called to order before it gets out of hand (I doubt that though).
Is that Sowore? I thought he was on exile.

Saharareporters need to come out and strongly condemn such behaviours and tender apologies not only to Zimbabwe but to Nigerians too.

Imaging asking "where is that Zuma sef" like they were savages let loose on rampage to hack down visiting presidents. Dignitaries will begin to wonder and get more suspicious when honoring our ceremonies next time.
