True talk. Their greed and tribalism is atrocious to say the least.

The amalgamation treaty of 1914 created Nigeria but did not specify end-date for the treaty or for Nigeria to cease to exist as a country.

It is therefore foolish, irresponsible and treasonable for those oil-bunkering bigots, pipeline vandals and environmental polluters to question the existence of Nigeria.

In Russia, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait etc, federal governments have ownership of resources found on their territories. This is a contitutional provision in Nigeria as well. So, those Ijaws that occupy that area of Nigeria do so on lease and not freehold.

It is a despicable and reprehensible tribalism that the Ijaws want an Ijaw state carved out of any states they may be.

What a squalid little thought that any tribe split across two or more states should seek to be united in a state of their tribe? The world has advanced beyond being tied to one's mother's apron string.

Nigeria as country is not negotiable. The earlier those Ijaw mischief-makers get it into their heads, the sooner they will spare themselves unimaginable self-inflicted damnation.

The Amalgamation of 1914, stated that, after 100 years, any part of Nigeria, that want to separate, or secede can go, they only need to apply to United nation for that

This is one of the reasons why the failed entity called Nigeria is scam. I think that Nigeria is heading down a pathway that only leads to two roads:

Referendum or War!

Nigeria should be renegotiated

Meaning Nigeria is an agreement or negotiation that has expired. If so when again it will be renewed and who and who shall be involved, and what do people expect?

So be it! Then secede. This fo0ls thinks it's all about oil. South Sudan is oil rich but one of the poorest countries on earth.
Interestingly, the bulk of the oil that's giving them shoulder pads is offshore, much more safer, as oil exploration coys are divesting from the onshore wells in that volatile region. And offshore access of any country is from its occupied land mass.
All the above story implies that: since the region is small, their offshore access is small and no major exploration company wants to explore in the onshore of the Niger Delta, it makes no economic sense. In less than 10 years if they ever secede, they will be on their knees pan hand.
pls go back to your secondary sch geography. the offshore territories belongs to the Niger delta as well..... most of the offshore activities takes place within the water bodies surrounding crossover, delta, akwaibom, rivers and bayalsa. So even if they succeed to breakaway, they will be in charge of the offshore wells..... if you don't like it..... go hit your head for rock....... or do we in an way struggle with you the arid dry and hunger desert that surrounds your northern states...... GEJ and his South Eastern cabal demonstrated for 4 years to us and to all, that there is nothing like south of Nigeria, after building and unfruitful bridge with him and his region in 2011.

We only repaid back his deeds towards us, in good measures, shaking together and running over.

If building bridge with the North will ensure we achieve our objectives, so be it. The one we built with other southerners was unproductive for us anyway.
On point. Tell them bro. they can't eat their cake and have it. When it was rosy for them alone, there was nothing like southern solidarity, but now that things have changed they're whining and crying foul. Southern solidarity my foot!

12 northern states indirectly conducted their own referendum to leave Nigeria beginning 2000 when they adopted use of unconstitutional sharia criminal laws. They have not renounced the adoption yet, though they have not been practicing much of it

Such adoption indirectly amounted to secession from Nigeria.

So why must SW and north grudge other groups who also do things that point to the groups' intention to secede from Nigeria?

Go grab a copy of the 1999 Constitution, read and digest the part on judiciary. It gives any state that wishes, the right to have a Sharia court.

FYI, the only reason why states around offshore territorial waters are immensely benefiting from the oil revenues is because they are part of a larger nigerian entity recognised by the UN and the international community. A break up will only enable foreign powers redefine these territorial frontiers. We should remember that we are sorrounded by francophone countries that have become stooges to these foreign powers. The problem with the various regions and tribe that make up nigeria is that they all focus on what they have contributed to nigeria, ignoring the benefits they have accured over the years as a result of belonging to the nigerian entity. Yes, nigeria might seem a system failure, but certainly every region has contributed to its failure. A lot of nigerians dont understand international politics, reason why we lost bakassi so cheaply. The human race is constantly reshaping itself and we should very well look beyond our nose. South sudan has suceeded in breaking away from sudan after so many years, we should be amazed how much role the multinational oil companies played. Today, sudan is seriously dropping arms into that region to achieve a goal, that is to further disintegrate that entity called south sudan. The Ijaw people should go into negotiations considering what they stand to gain or lose being part of nigeria.

In a nation where northerners occupy more than half of the seats in the national assembly how will any bridge be built to secure enough members in the national assembly to allow insertion of referendum into our constitution..
The key point is to penetrate NC. Awolowo did it with his party and they even won in core north. The party won in the then Benue, present day Benue and part of Kogi.

It is possible, if we set out heart at it and we are strategic about it.

All we need to do is to make the NC, what they have to gain over what they have to lose.

Whine as much as you can, you only have access to 3 nautical miles around your coastline. Whereas the Nigerian state as it were controls 12 nautical miles. Once the kasala bursts, you go see something.

Which is the more reason why we must solidify the Arewa-Odua bridge by secession and leaving them to improve their alliance in a Sharia republic of Arewa-Oduanistan.

Bridge building with the North is not good enough, Arewa and Odua must solidify their union in a new United country.

You can as well say bye bye to your dream of Biafra, because that alliance will always ensure you will always be at the losing end of anything and everything.

Let us try that alliance and see how it will go. Nobody is begrudging you over your Biafra-Ijaw alliance of a new nation of Lower Niger.

At least, Biafra tried alliance with the same Arewa through Zik and Ekwueme and you came out of it disgruntled. Let us try and see how it will work with us, after learning from how you were treated like house boys.

Sorry boy, go first and study the differences between sharia criminal laws and sharia civil laws.

Sharia civil laws and courts have been enshrined in the constitution long ago;

sharia criminal laws which the 12 northern states adopted are no where recognized by the 1999 constitution.

If you have sharia criminal courts to try sharia criminal cases, you then have two criminal justice systems in Nigeria - that's having two countries in one country.
