7. South Africa has the highest number of people living with hiv/aids in the the world (Over 6.1 million people) To south Africans, theres nothing shocking about having Hiv, and really, there isnt, you can still leave a normal life, early detection is key. So Mr or Mrs africana, go do a test. The over 6.1 million people accounts for over 10 percent of the porpulation and an adult prevalence rate of 17.8 percent (15-49years). this value varies markedly between regions. For example, HIV prevalence is almost 40 percent Kwazulu Natal compared with 18 percent in Northern Cape and Western Cape On an average, when you get 10 south africans, one of them is probably living with HIV, thats some shit, Qatar is just got less than 200 people diagnosed with HIV

8. Over 90% of African soils are unsuitable for agriculture and only 0.25% has moderate to low potential for sustainable farming. Hey, Hey, Hey, my friend, calm down. Before you start saying this is Africa, how dare you say that. Its a fact, and there is little you can do about it Here’s a picture of the African soil you have conditioned your mind to believe, you have probably not been taking notice of your surroundings. African soil is not entirely bad, but it largely unsuitable for agriculture Here’s the other picture you’ve probably not seen. The unsuitability of African soil agriculture, is largely due to her extremely wide range of soils and climatic conditions. The soils range from stony shallow ones with meagre life-sustaining capabilities to deeply weathered profiles which recycle and support a large biomass. Inappropriate land use, poor management and lack of inputs have also contributed to the woes of the African soil, as there has been a continuous decline in its productivity. 9. Hippos kill more people in Africa than lion and crocodile The African hippopotamus is unbelievably responsible for more human deaths in Africa than any other large animal. Male hippos make it a point of duty to actively defend their territories which often times run alongside the river banks. Female hippos are known to become quite protective and aggressive most especially if they anticipate any form of threats towards their babies, which would normally stay in the water while the mother hippo feeds on the river banks Hippos have well structured jaws in which up to 20 inch canine teeth are installed
