Before you say God forbid hold on and listen, pehaps if Nigeria has had a different party at the herm of affairs at the legislature since 1999 we would have surpassed where we are today as a nation.

The legislature is supposed to help citizens cheek the activities of the excutive through its representatives, but overtime the Nigerian legislature has always been at the mercy of the executive, thereby allowing itself to be manipulated by the executive because of party affliations amongs other reasons.

This has promoted all forms of impunity, corruption, Misdemeanor even felony, which effects we still feel today. It was only in 2014 towards 2015 (prior to the General Elections) a majority part of the legislature could stand on their own to challenge the wrong of govt and the resultant effect is the Change in govt we all celebrate today.

Let's complet the change by doing away with the manipulative one party system and embrace the actual multi party system we claim to Operate, as this will go a long way to enforce transperacy in Governance.

I know Nationalists will agree with me

God Bless Nigeria !
