the lawmakers of the APC were deliberately absent from the Senate president election this morning. They obviously didn't want to loose face before PDP and Saraki. With support coming from the PDP which moved with one voice and the supporters Saraki would have picked from the APC, it was obvious he would carry the day. So instead of letting that rub on the party's face, avoiding the scene was deemed appropriate. So they knew quite well what they were doing. 1 Like |
