Wake up please,
When will you learn to attribute blame to who it is due.
For you , anything wrong must be blamed on PDP.
I am sure each time you accidentally hurt your toe , you also blame it on PDP.

Na wa o. If it was good news about Lagos you would have credited it to Fashola. Now it's bad news about Lagos is the fault of the President that was miles away in Abuja. Was GEJ a Lagos Commissioner or part of the Local Government Committee? Nigerian Hypocrisy is world class! undecided

Lagos drainage system is poor, a good drainage system will reduce this flooding.
I used to believe that theory until orile road was rebuilt. Even brand new drainage and the road yet to be commissioned, the petty traders along that rain had filled the drainage with debris. This was 3 years ago. Of course the road did not last. The signal batman's part of it barely lasted six months before flood decimated the road.
As much as govt has much to do, lagosians are too dirty in their waste management attitudes.

Government have neglected their duties of bringing good governance to the people. Everywhere you see bad roads without well-channelled drainages.

The masses also contribute their part. Why not dispose your waste properly instead of dumping them in gutters when it rains or not? After the drainages are blocked with refuse and roads filled with water and refuse too, the roads get bad and these polithiefcians allocate monies for this purpose and yet pocket them.

Again, do you blame some of the masses? We don't have good disposal management to dispose these refuse promptly.

I blame both the masses and the government but majorly the government because if they construct good roads with drainages and put proper waste management in place, the masses won't suffer. If the masses know there are punishment spelt out for dumping refuse in water-ways, they would desist.

After all said and done, the task of rebuilding Nigeria is a task that must be done.
PLS GUIDE ME ON HOW TO POST ON NAIRALAND. Thanks

Task of rebuilding Lagos to end their constant flooding is a task that must be done.
