Where is the privacy? Our network should protect its customer even on a very serious crime....they should appear as witness to stand for their customer...only by reviewing d persons call details...it shouldn't be a thing of speaking through customer care... If the person is not found guilty then damages must be payed.... For ur information....there are streets u dont drop dirt of any kind else....ask ESWAMA.... Etc...

even a business and complementary cards, some mini personal belonging that carries our identity is not left out too, when we miss place things we should also report it to the police.

if not for the fact that we have one of the dumbest security operatives in the world. Would an armed robber load recharge card on a crime scene?
i just hate our police picking recharge cards as evidence, senseless group of people. i once heard a story of someone that got arrested cos of something like this
My point exactly!

Yes, this can actually yield a good lead, for kidnap cases but not every other random crime like robbery. You may not understand, though. But, if you're conversant with crime solving and forensics you'll understand. In short, if you watch crime channel on DSTV you'll understand.
I am a fan of the crime channels but na Nigeria we dey talk about for here.

This is an exaggeration! If this were the standard modus operandi of the SCIDs in making arrests, half the country by now would have been arrested on unsubstantiated grounds. Undoubtedly, they go wrong sometimes due to power abuses by the bad eggs and/or ill luck and innocents are arrested and/or put on trial wrongly, but the criminal investigative unit of the NPF have quite a structured procedure to investigate crime. I'd rather the public be informed to properly dispose their used recharge cards so as to not litter the environment, instead of making the NPF look like some unintelligent rabid vigilante on the loose.

To be honest, this is unreasonable. Who will be recharging airtime during a robbery or any other criminal act?

What a shipload of crap.. The odds of a card user being involved in a crime are 1 out of 500 million.. Do u know how many recharge cards that are sold everyday? Do know that recharge cards are non-biodegradable and can last for tens of year without decomposition ? Wonder why average Naija has an IQ of 68??
