Students Are Confused With This Logarithm Question, Any Help? by Hardeysolution(m): 5:10pm On Jun 13, 2015 |
In Logarithm, we have the following laws *Log a + Log b, in the same base is logab in that base. *loga-logb, in the same base is loga/b in that base. *loga to base a is 1. *log 1 to any base is 0. *loga^b= bloga, the power moves to the back of the log. These are some of logarithmic laws, the question is... What is Log1 to the base of 1 as in Log1base1... *remember log 1 to any base is zero. *remember when base and number are the same, it is 1. So what is Log1 to base 1? Fp: Ishilove, Laslaticala, seun 1 Like |

Op. Log 1 to base 1 is 1. (logarithm of the base). The rule that says log 1 to any base is 0. Now in this rule (logarithm of one), the base has to be different for it to be zero. So therefore logarithm of 1 to base 1 is 1 |

let log1_1=k ..using the reciprocal law 1^k=1 thus 1^k=1^1 or 1^k=1^0 or 1^k=1^* therefore k= 0 or 1 till infinity! |
