A former deputy governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has called on Governor Rauf Aregbesola to resign because of the financial mess he allegedly created in the state which led to his inability to pay workers in the past seven months.

Omisore said this while speaking with journalists at the Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osogbo on Sunday.

According to Omisore, who was a former chairman, Senate Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Osun State is now on a life support and requires an urgent financial aid to keep it alive.

He said, “It is good that Ogbeni Aregbesola admitted that the issue of Osun State financial crisis was beyond his capacity. But this admission is not enough, I expected him to have communicated to the state House of Assembly and honourably leave the seat of the governor.

“Osun is now a failed state because of financial recklessness of the governor. I really appreciate the fact that he confessed that the present state of Osun affairs is beyond him but he should immediately throw in the towel.

“Nearly all commercial banks in Osun Sate are being owed one form of loan or the other. The matter has reached that stage that the Committee of Bankers in the state at their meeting, resolved that no bank should borrow this government any more. They are also waiting for remittances into state coffers.”

Speaking through his media aide, Mr. Semiu Okanlawon, the governor denied the allegation of financial recklessness.

He said, “We are not surprised that the unpaid salary has made Omisore to find his voice after his fruitless search for a non-existent mandate. We do not expect anything better from a man, who at the best of times, still fabricated lies against the Aregbesola administration all in his desperation to get the acceptance of the Osun people.

The director of radiobiafra in the morning broadcast command Biafrans not to attend the upcoming crusade by pastor Kumuyi of deeper life church at Aba Begining 30th of June 2015. Yorubas frustrate, deport Biafrans, and ask Biafrans to leave Lagos but their pastors flock to Biafraland to extort money from gullible Biafrans

In his words, Biafrans must boycott the crusade because Yoruba are the problem of Biafrans and Yoruba pastors are evil. They burry snakes in Biafraland. They will know how serious we are this time around...

Also, Biafrans that called in we're totally against Kumuyi coming to Aba and warned the host of the event to desist from this planned crusade and stop Kumuyi from going to Aba.

The Director dares Kumuyi to make available the corpse of his late wife for autopsy if he denies killing her to marry a 65 years old church member ... undecided

Biafrans are warned not to attend any Yoruba church including deeper life church, redeemed church, winner chapel, mountain of fire church, ... and other Yoruba churches. Any Biafran attending any Yoruba church is barred from joining the Indegenous People of Biafra meeting

This evening, the director read from a Nigerian paper where Tunde Bakare confessed how he help register 18 companies for Kumuyi before leaving the church due to problem between both of them embarassed

What do you expect a disgruntled and frustrated man to say? He had tried to be on the throne and had been vehemently rejected by Osun people then the next thing is to ask a legit governor to vacate the seat. The best thing for him is to start humanitarian work now by providing succour to the people of the state perhaps they might forgive him of his sins.

This Bola Ige Murderer should just shut up for once: why can't he advise his Ogogoro master who have been borrowing money to pay Federal Government Workers till the end of his tenure despite huge loans and depletion of our country's external reserves?

Apart from Osun, the following States are owing Six Months and above:

Benue State
Kogi State:
Platue State
Bauchi State
Imo State
Abia State
Enugu( Parastals are owed 12month arrears)

In fact, only 18 states are not owing workers' salaries as at today. While I am not here to vindicate Aregbesola, TANoids should not forget to remove the dust in their eyes while trying to remove the ones in the eyes of others. The link below can serve as eyes opener to financial mess GEJ's administration has put this country into, the resultant effect is part of what we are witnessing in various states of federation with those who has ability to generate internal revenue in exception -
