Ulefone kick of the first sales of the Ulefone Be Touch 2 today.

While it might come as a bit of a surprise that Ulefone have release an updates 2nd generation Be Touch, it in fact really shouldn’t. If you cast your mind back to early leaks of the original Be Touch there was some confusion over the resolution of the display, which was later cleared up with Ulefone stating that they would more than likely release a 2nd phone with FHD panel to compliment the first HD release, and here it is in the form of the Ulefone Be Touch 2.

Design-wise the Ulefone Be Touch 2 flaunts the same magnesium alloy frame as the Be Touch along with a 2.5D glass display with oleophobic coating to make it less vulnerable to fingerprints and spears. The body hasn’t been unchanged though. The rear panel will is still removable and will be offered in bright colours plus a denim and silk covered option.



Upfront the Be Touch 2 will also retain the same fingerprint scanner built in the home button. This is a pretty neat feature and means no more double tap then unlock or power button then swipe and password to unlock. Once set up all it requires is a single press of the finger and the scanner will check your fingerprint and decide to open up.

As already mentioned the Be Touch 2 has a FHD 1920 x 1080 resolution display rather than a HD panel, and will also have the battery updates to a 3050mAh solid-state polymer option for longer running time. Other detsils include a newer MT6735 chipset running a 1.3Ghz (the same as the M2 note), 3GB RAM, 16GB storage, SD card support, Android 5.1 and Sony IMX214 main camera.

Lol ulephone and elephone arent match,i would choose an elephone over a ulephone anyday anytime,its not by what u see online but an actual usuage,i remembered the shitty ulephone a gud friend of mine imported,lol
it has the greatest specs there is when it comes to real life its anoda thing,from the ba3 to heating to hotspot malfunction to signal strength,hell to even headset,the headphone mouth is actually the most funny part,no normal earpiece works with it,it is so deep.
It was so bad that he was actually scared to sell it,so as not to spoil his reputation,hell the device is still with him now,

How? If it is using MT6735 as against MT6752 then it can never do better on Antutu. Though 6735 is newer it is no match for a 6752.

Ulefone working on Flyme, Cyanogenmod for Be Touch 2

The Ulefone Be Touch 2 already ships with a stock installation of Android Lollipop, but the company will soon offer popular custom ROMs for the phone for users to try soon enough.

A pure Android experience used to be a difficult feature to find on a Chinese phone, but now the majority of the newer smartphones are coming with just that based on Android Lollipop. Although the shift has been welcomed by many, there are users who prefer the additional function and personality a custom ROM can offer a phone.

“People want a that provide different interaction experiences and variable themes, and in the same time, they want it to be light for best performance. We’ll take both the factors into consideration and make something people feel inspiring and good to use simultaneously ”, said Ulefone CEO Jason Liu.

In an attempt to keep all Be Touch 2 owners happy, Ulefone have confirmed today that they are working on a couple of custom ROMs for the flagship Ulefone Be Touch 2. The ROMs mentioned include Flyme (Meizu’s operating system), CyanogenMod, MIUI (Xiaomi) and EMUI (Huawei ROM).

The choices of ROM were decided upon after the company held a poll on their Facebook page. There is currently no word on a release date for the ROMs.

The Ulefone Be Touch 2 is an updated version of the Be Touch. If features a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 FHD display, 3GB RAM, Mediatek MT6752 processor, 13 mega-pixel Sony IMX214 rear camera and a Touch ID style fingerprint scanner.
