Please advise how to declare money above USD 10,000 at Lagos airport. Plan to travel next month with Qatar Airways to Doha and will need to carry cash more than $20,000. Do we have to pay tax or is there any commission to be paid or its free? Is the process complicated or just simply complete the form and answer questions? Many thanks for your advise. You will not pay tax on it. You only required to DECLARE it at Customs desk before departure. They sure will be surprised u came willingly to declare! |
