To add insult to injury, the same DG SSS is refusing to comply with presidential directive to supply the presidency with the list of SSS officers that will be working there for screening. This is why the 253 SSS officers sent to the presidency on Wednesday last week were promptly turned away.

The DSS is so much of a secret cult than any other govt agency. I do not completely trust them. The Nigerian Military is even more open.

And I do not blame PMB, at least he will have some good foresight in army intelligence the more reason he has chosen to work with the military other than the DSS.

I wld even prefer he uses the Defense House till end of is administration.

My only worry in that case is that, the VP will be rendered completely less relevant and may make him go into oblivion.

I see nothing wrong with this. The SSS are doing their job. Did they just planted the bugs to specifically spy on PMB? Who didn't know that there are bugs all over the villa? How can there be water-tight security at the villa without these sophisticated equipment? If you are not comfortable with the existing system replace them and move on. That's how it is done.

The DG DSS seems to be finding it difficult to differentiate between national interest and regime loyalty. No matter what he owes the last regime, no matter what he benefitted from the last government, he is supposed to adjust to the current reality which is PMB is now the man of the moment.
