The activities of international agencies such as Amnesty International's reveal noisome neo-colonialist proclivities and a blatant meddlesomeness that tend to subvert the sovereignties of independent but developing nations of the world. The fact that Amnesty International is seven-million strong does not confer supremacist powers on it. Yet another question which arises is whether Amnesty International is as visible in the so-called developed countries as they are in Africa?
