This is what you get when you elect a man with "nepa" bill as his school certificate and an unstable political party that are bereft of ideas on how to equitably run even a small country like "Togo".

Some dullards here will defend the Daura President and the so called APC (association of political criminals) party. I doubt if those folks defending Daura President know what happens when you (1) have a speculative government and (2) a government without policy direction. Absence of these key factors drives your market to a halt thereby making you loss lots of money. The investment market cannot thrive on uncertainty, that's what has played out here. You can't expect investor to put in money in a system that lacks policy direction from the government.

If not for the level of corruption already inculcated in those foreign investors, how does appointment of ministers and other government officials affect their investment? Or are they waiting for who to bribe this time around again

Why not hide your almajiri ID card and pretend for sometime...So after reading the original post, you still posted this...don't they test your comprehension skills in that school

How can a leader who truly mean well for the economy not marshal out his economic team and plan by now? We are losing billions every minute and Buhari is busy traveling from one place to another and lamenting on how old he is. Buhari's dullardness is really milking use dry.

There's no way to know the best person for the job until they are selected and tested. Most of the people who are going to be appointed might not have had any experience on the job.

Waiting for eternity to make simple selection is folly. No matter the degree or certification someone parades, s/he still needs to apply them to the new job to be considered successful.

And being a successful private sector executive won't necessarily translate to success in the public sector, likewise being a success at the state level won't automatically lead to huge performance at the federal level.

The vicissitude of office sometimes will rubbish someone's stellar performance in other sectors of life. For instance Prof (Mrs.) Adenike Grange was regarded as one of the best professionals in Nigeria, still she was removed from office under a very unpleasant circumstance. Buhari himself was considered the 'best' by his herds. Many of them had thought that by now, the country would have turned to Dubai, but alas, the Chief Dullard himself has confessed that he is too old for the job.

Let the Daura President stop deceiving himself about looking for the 'best' while time is running out on all of us. And if it's about that senility that he spoke about in South Africa, he should excuse Nigeria and resign honorably.
