As the title of this piece reads, one would expect that Chief Wike himself is a champion for the non appropriation of government property, but he is not. He is one of the many hypocrites who would expect people to do as he says and not as he does. Between October 2007 and May 2011, Chief Nyesom Wike was the Chief of Staff to Governor Amaechi and he alone appropriated more than fifteen vehicles, including; 3 Land Cruiser; 2 Mecedes Benz (4matic), one of which is a bullet proof; 4 Prado Jeep, one of which is permanently packed in front of his father gate at Rumuepirikom… which might be removed after this article; 1 Toyota Lexus Jeep, bullet proof; 3 Camry, 2007 model, saloon; 2 Avensis, 2007 model, Saloon; 2 Honda saloon car (End of discussion); 2 Honda salon car (discussion continues); 5 Toyota Hilux pickup van (use for security pilot and and backup in his convoy); two (2) 14-seater Toyota Buses, one (1) 32-seater Costa bus; 1 BMW 6 Series car; and many others that I can’t readily remember at the moment.
Only recently, Chief Wike was the past Minister of State for Education. Report has it that Chief Wike took away four (4) vehicles from the Federal Ministry of Education, which he refused to return even when a letter was formally written to him. Some of the cars he has given away to his allies.
Chief Wike must be very careful not to set Rivers State ablaze by his WITCH-HUNT, in an attempt to cast aspersion on the person of Governor Amaechi. If it were not a witch-hunt, why has Governor Wike not sent his “Policemen-on-illegal duty to the premise of Engr. Tele Ikuru, who on the 28th of May, 2015 took away 6 vehicles (including: 2 Prado Jeep, 1 Hilux pickup, INNOSCO, 1 Ford Jeep; 1 Land Cruiser Jeep and 1 Camry saloon car) from the Deputy Governor’s lodge in Abuja. Even when the security men refused his agents from moving the vehicle, Engr. Tele Ikuru (now Chief Wike’s man-friday…, story for another day) pulled a call to intimidate the security guard and the vehicles were released to his agents. Why has Chief Wike with his police not stormed Engr. Tele House to recover the fleet of vehicles he took away from Port Harcourt? Why has Chief Wike not declared Tele Ikuru’s action as LOOTING?

Meanwhile Wike has started recovering the loot stolen by Amaechi and his aides.

Wike shouldn't start what he would find difficult to control.
