Brother Im not trying to discourage you but before you leave Nigeria make sure you are sure of what you are doing. There is no place like home. Europe is like Nigeria, the difference is that things work there. Clean running water, good transportation system, good hospitals, law and order. Otherwise there is no country on earth where money falls off trees. Im not saying you think like this but this is how many of our brothers reason. If you travel to Europe and return without a car or big houses you will be seen as failure, which is why everybody wants to make it by fire by force. I am a frequent traveler, I am tired of seeing Nigerians roaming the streets of every country in the name of hustling. I was in Turkey November last year about 80% of every 9ja guy you see on the streets of Istanbul is a hustler. What are they hustling? You need to go there and find out.

Right now I am in Vietnam to buy items I resell in Nigeria, could you imagine so many graduates are duped and lured into traveling to Asia with fake promises of high paying jobs etc. How can we be so gullible? I was with my friend that owns shipping company here, he just employed a Nigerian banker that was told he would get teaching jobs in Vietnam that pays $5,000 monthly. I interviewed the guy just above 2 hours ago, he was working with a bank in Lagos, but that was not enough, he believed Nigeria was hell, once he is outside Nigeria all will be well. He is now suffering bc there are no jobs in south east Asia. He is lucky to get his daily bread bc my guy employed him in his wife restaurant. A graduate with stable bank job in 9ja is now pounding yam and pepper in another country? For how much? I didn't ask but it wont be more than $200 or $300 per month.

While in UK last year I met a guy that sold his fathers factory to travel to London. He is now regretting it. An Ikwerre boy. Bc his friend went to Germany and became a millionaire under 2 years. I stopped advising people long ago, bc no matter what i say here people go still read and enter Libya by road. May God help us all. Peace

Ok glad you know how far.
As for going to Asia to hustle, I wont say its better to hustle in Europe than Asia because I have seen people that are making it legally and big time in Asia while there are thousands that are stranded in Europe looking for free ticket to return to Nigeria. Sometimes its about luck. When Gods favor is upon your life you can make it anywhere. You can succeed even where others have failed. Good Luck

It depends on your level of education.
For educated migrants, most European countries require that you had some level of education preferably in that country. For some occupations with skills shortage, recruitment companies recruit from around the world. All you need to do is to seek out those recruitment companies, check their website and see if they have job openings that match your skills. If they do, you need to tailor your CV to the general requirements of that country and hope that they invite you for an interview. In some cases, knowledge of the language is essential.
Some people however just obtain admission and look for jobs after their studies. If they find jobs after their studies then fine otherwise they move on.

Cyril83 and fighal, you guys are right but you should give iykebethany some slack. Truth is, he's been buying goods from Vietnam for long according to him.... who knows he might be going there monthly smiley

@OP, speaking of hustling abroad is something worth trying as long as you've got the legal spirit in your mind.

I work and make a living online legally. I can afford to live in any country so far $1k will do me monthly - that means whatever opportunity I see, I can take it.

So, first thing first, don't always think of white collar job - look at tech industry.

Look at any good handwork you can learn. No matter how hard it is, if you're good in your trade, you'll surely excel.

Good one there. Of course, it ain't easy anywhere in the world.

I do some freelance writing, keyword research and blog setup.

Sometimes, I help people with SEO (mostly white folks). I've got my books on amazon and also own couple of sites making money from adsense and amazon affiliate as well.

That's basically all I do online.
