Policemen at Ozalla Divisional Police Station arrested a low-bed (caterpillar carrier) driver around 05:pm YESTERDAY evening for cutting electrical wire at Four Corner old road Ozalla.

The said driver was compelled to pay for the damaged wire which he obliged. Yet, he was still being detained for other fictitious charges.

This driver would not be allowed go nor parked properly since the low-bed parked on the road.

AT 09:12pm, a commercial bus coming from Enugu to Agbani unknowingly, hit the low-bed behind. Consequently, caused the death of the passengers in the bus.

Efforts to take the dead and injured ones to UNTH were being frustrated by the same policemen whom unperturbedly required signatures before any corpse would be moved.
