Bvm registration is done while opening a new acct, the bvn has no deadline it is a continous process, the deadline thing is just to get more nigerians to do it.

Why did people choose to wait till this time? My fear is an extension of the verification exercise will make these guys relaxed about it again till the end. We like doing things at rush hour.

I did that shit since last year

typical attitude of Nigeria and Nigerians in this case, fire-brigade approach. I think i did mine sometimes last year august or so. Even when GTbank no gree send me my BVN no immediately as they should, after like 3 months, i went back and they help me check it manually from their record without any hassle, today i have it boldly on my GT internet banking easily. People need to change their attitude in cases like this.

It is much more efficient than spending thousands on the media since last year to beg people to do it.
But be informed that withdrawal will be blocked though until you have the number (This sounds so creepy).

You can have ur BVN numb but mayb it has not been updated, I experienced such mainly for acc with BVN of last year

I am telling you. That was how on 24th of December 2012, I think the whole of Lagos was at a standstill. There was no fuel and it was half day work. Everybody wanted to go to buy stuffs and get back home at the same time. A journey of 30mins took me 5 hours by car just because Nigerians like last Minute preparations.

I did mine three weeks ago.but have not received a message on my fone.I hope its no problem....I don't want to stand in another waiting line.

How does fuel scarcity correlate to BVN?

You can't correlate them guy... so you want people to buy 1 tank of fuel for house or what?
