Good work pays.Ex-governor of Lagos state Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) was yesterday honoured by the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA),Lagos Branch at Muson Centre as part of Law Week celebration.

Other distinguished legal practitioners were also honoured at the event.Disclosing the news by Lagos state Law Week Committee,the ex-governor was honoured because he has been part of the organisation and also responds to their calls.

“One of the reasons for honoring Fashola is because he has always been one of us. He is a member of this branch and he responds whenever we call on him. Now we are welcoming him back.”

It should be recalled that Babatunde Fashola transformed Lagos state.His administration brought infrastructural development in Lagos.He is strongly tipped to be one of the major players in President Buhari's administration.

He deserves all the accolades. I hope the honour will spur him to do more in whatever capacity he is deployed to serve in the Buhari administration.
