When the pharisees brought the woman caught in adultery, he did not say the woman did no wrong. Rather he asked that he who had committed no sin to cast the first stone - not one person could cast a stone.

That is the problem with so-called right wing christians today, their christianity is motivated by moral activism than actual love for Jesus. They hate same sex marriage but they holla in the presence of divorced and remarried pastors. They wag their fingers in anger at homosexuals but deny justice to the poor and needy. They ignore the injunctions in Romans 13 to froth in the mouth at homosexuals. Perhaps if they cleaned their own stables first, they can cast their rocks at homosexuals?

Todays right wing evagelical christians seem to find it a lot easier to define their christianity according to, and based solely on what they HATE, rather than what they genuinely love.
