It is unfortunate that lawlessness and impunity still pervades this country. Driving against traffic (otherwise known as driving one way) is a common scenario in Nigeria, yet all the myriad of government agencies with responsibility to effect law enforcement, highway management and traffic control shy away from performing their duties. The result is the continuous occurrence of avoidable and very costly deaths. My prayer is that those who have failed to perform their jobs as humanly effective, thus causing serial deaths of budding youths and adults, will also receive the same fate as has befallen the parents, relatives and friends of victims of such negligence/dereliction in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
