OMG!! I think the name of the book is "Alawiye"...not sure though. Very interesting! Especially a part that narrated the story of the monkey, when it was told to say "amin" but refused, and later said it continuously.....

it was Akuku-Igbo, I read that year in Asaba.
stress in Igbo language is very important, a spelt word can represent more than 4 things, it all depends on how you stress the word.

Wow, I feel nostalgic right now.

I think this should be Alawiye if I'm not wrong though.

I think it is part of you to dabble in to what is not your concerns.
Why don't you read and short your mouth .
Millions of Yoruba Sons and daughters born in the 60s and 70s read this, and it's good we have a good memories of our primary school days.
What I expect from you is to make public your own memorial reference to your primary school days instead of you making unnecessary comment here.
