After news filtered in that Sergio ramos has told Madrid he would like a move to Manchester United, let's take a look at how his signing might improve united. No doubt ramos is a good player, technically good, can play the ball out of defence confidently, something Smalling and co find difficult to do they just keep on making wrong long passes, strong in the air which makes him a threat at set pieces, just recall that glancing header he scored againt Athletico in the UCL final and you can understand what united is gaining, he can play right back and centre back very well, aggressive and has a strong character but because he's aggressive red card is not always far from him that's why he's the most red carded player in the history of Madrid and did I forget to tell you he has pace! But he's now 29+ his pace has definitely reduced and considering the fast paced football played in England, ramos would play for at most 4years before united start looking for another replacement.
Why not buy a cheaper and younger otamendi who is as good as ramos, very strong, good in the air too, he scored the winner against Madrid to break their unbeaten and proven! Ramos would be a good singing but not the right one!
