Arsenal officially announced the signing of Petr Cech yesterday and Manchester United may seal Morgan Scneiderlin 's deal before the end of the week. Liverpool are also busy signing every Southampton player they can lay their hands on.

Big fact - Chelsea are a bit passive and pensive in the transfer Window . Why is it so? By this time last transfer Window, Chelsea had already signed Costa and Fabregas. But it is different now as we only heard of Cech's departure as the active transfer news at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea's lack of activities can also be explained by the lack of activities in Real Madrid and Barcelona and even Bayern Munich. Though the difference in quality between Chelsea and Barca and Madrid is huge, but very few players can improve the first 11 at Chelsea and they are not available.

Who will improve Courtois, Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic, Asplicueta, Matic, Fabregas, Willian, Hazard, Oscar and Costa? Very few players can.
Not even a Griezmann or a Lacazzette. But a Bale, Aguero, Pogba, Ronaldo and Messi will improve Chelsea but (apart from Pogba) they are not available at any price.

Pogba can displace Oscar. But he is not too better than Oscar and yet he is too expensive for a position that do not need to much of an upgrade.

So we see Chelsea buying "squad players" in this transfer Window so that players like Hazard and Co can have some rest from time to time.
That's why we expect a Bogovic and a Falcao as Cech and Drogba's replacement and maybe a Pogba just to upgrade Oscar's position and also give Matic some rests. If Pogba doesn't come, we expect another defensive midfielder. We also feel Chelsea might promote Luftus Cheek and Betrand Traore (Who did beyond excellent in the current under 21 team).
