FG should not ruin the future of those students. The best thing fg will do is to apply for transcript for them to continue in nigeria. Denying those students education amounts to witch hunting.

Govt should quickly settle dis fees, however for the two months stipends they should just shut up cos people have worked for nine months no salary, and some idle hands are talking of two months stipends

It's good that things are happening this way.

Paying amnesty and scholarships 100 times over is by far cheaper than what is to come.
Pmb will soon find out!

People who have schooled with these guys will praise what the government just did. These boys are the lavish spenders in the universities that even Arab students from rich families actually can be compared to, they are also loud and give Nigerians a bad name because of their uncultured ways, its a waste of national resources sending that amount of people to universities in the UK; These boys have nothing to show for it, many cant even construct an English statement without grave error. its better we spend the money on willing and intelligent graduates who will represent us properly than spoilt brats of the GEJ era.Get them transcripts to continue their education in Nigeria. if they refuse, Let them do their worst if they may

Plus Tier 4 allows you to work for 20 hours a week....so if you get a good job....costs can fall.

It can and it will. However, you'd only be able to enjoy such prospective reductions as from the 2nd year of study since you'd have to produce

the evidence of you having enough funds to pay for at least the first year before you'd be allowed to travel.

All-in-all in my opinion, its still expensive and if you or your benefactor(s) cannot afford to pay the fees easily without you getting a job, its

best to look elsewhere. Getting a part-time job can sometimes be a lot more harder than you would have bargained for.

Bros let's not assume Jack, let's deal with the facts abeg! This thing is a source of money laundering and monumental corruption and waste that their politicians use for cheap political gains and it has been thoroughly bastardised! Or don't you hear stories of how the students are never payed on time or can't afford decent lodgings or books in half decent countries in europe? Compared 2 other scholarship students nigerian students are always a running joke! I should know! So Till it can be run in a proactive and planned manner, inclusive of govt. approved budgets and monitoring systems of how the funds are being utilised, and it benefit all sets of young nigerians including U let them park well!

like I said on another thread, Nigerians hadly read to comprehend....just imagine some posters already rushing to blame buhari for a sin actually committed by Jonathan. was buhari president 2 months ago?? if their fees and whatever else hasn't been paid in 2 months then it shows Jonathan wasn't able to meet up with the financial obligations in which case buhari may be magnanimous enough to come to their rescue.

This is one good step taken in the right direction by Buhari. Our Expenditures don plenty pass income.. Haba!

Although our expenses are more than incomes, it will be reasonable for FG to pay and let the students complete their studies, then FG can stop. Some if the students may not be able to complete the studies because of their background. This is all about GEJ. And this action by buhari is capable of creating ethic division

If the amount of money spent sponsoring these guys in foreign institutions is spent upgrading our universities, Nigerian universities will be the best in Africa.

Do we know how much we're talking about here? You need a minimum of £90,000 to train an international student for a BSc programme in the UK. Multiply this amount by 6,000 (approx Nos of ex militants in foreign institutions) and you will get the ridiculous, frightening amount being wasted.

By the way, 90% of the so called ex militants are enjoying lavish lifestyles in the UK and the US; another 65% are don't even know how to spell their names (hope you get my drift grin ).

If I'm to advise GMB, get these guys to write examination here in Nigeria and anyone who scores below an acceptable band should be withdrawn from his foreign institution and thrown back to the creeks. I hope GMB reads this
Buhari children school abroad till now.
Your president does not have the moral right.
