As long as the child is that of the father, either male or female, the child deserves the inheritance, even if the child was adopted.

The person who decides who has an inheritance is the person that writes the will. It's a gift and not something you earn or deserve.

an inheritance is not and will never be a gift, it is your rightfull portion that you must derserve from your father if at all you are a worthy son or daughter

Yes they do, men and women should have inheritance expecially if they are still young and in education or in trade.

how is it your rightful portion, where you the one working for or earning your parents estate? Parents can give their estate to charity or some orphanage if they feel like it.  were the children of Carnegie not worthy of all their father's money? Whoever writes the will deserves who gets what for his own personal reasons.  The i deserve this mentality is the reason Abiola's kids ruined their father's estate.

Nigeria needs to start from the drawing board, simple.

Too much needs to be done with that country
