Some misconceptions about BokoHaram has been unraveled in recent weeks.
The group's agitation was never about returning power to the north as many people hitherto erroneously believed and even Buhari himself must've underestimated their capabilities.
These guys are nothing short of terrorists and their mode of operation requires complex military tactics to be checked because guerrilla warfare which the group adopts is very difficult to conquer.
Although the new administration still have time to contrive ways of dealing with the insurgents, the government must however expedite actions and come up with a formidable plan.

I had that misconception until recently when I saw the rate at which bombs have been going off in the north. There is more to it than we think.
