Bishop stabbed Knox with two long kitchen knives and his reaction when he heard Knox had died was "Yeah, sweet", the judge said.

Knox was trying to protect his younger brother Jamie, who had been threatened by Bishop, when he was attacked.

The young actor's parents Sally and Colin say they want to set up a youth centre or sponsorship scheme for young actors in memory of their son.

Bishop was found guilty Wednesday. Knox's last film is due to be released in July.
