The answer is a resounding YES!

Our closest cousins, on the evolutionary tree, Chimps and Bonobos, like us humans, are such monumental sluts.

A very insightful book on the subject is "Sex At Dawn: The Prehistoric Origins of Modern Sexuality".

But you don't need to read a book to know this.

Just look around you. Are our females anything close to monogamous in their behaviour?

And if you're still in doubt, take a look at a woman's reproductive hardware, it is designed/evolved for sperm competition. Yes, lots of sperm, from different men, in there - at the same time.

There's also a book called Sperm Wars: Infidelity, Sexual Conflict and Other Bedroom Battles.

What stoopidity?
To answer your mischievous question, men are not polygamous in the context of marriage, but 95% of men in dis world desire to sleep with another woman apart from their wives....
Women are not polyandrous, they prefer to catch a man, tie him down and fight tooth and nail to ensure he doesn't look elsewhere, else they'd be fighting for polyandry rather than do everything possible to stop polygamy..

5minsmadness,

What do you think?
Polyandry (/ˈpɒliˌændri, ˌpɒliˈæn-/; from Greek: πολυ- poly-, "many" and ἀνήρ anēr, "man"wink is a form of polygamy whereby a woman takes two or more husbands at the same time.

At bolded is the issue.
The OP's topic is misleading.
Do women have multiple sexual partners? Sure of course!
Are women naturally prone to having more than one male life partner at the same time? Definitely not! cool

A very insightful book you can look at is Desmond Morris' "The Naked Ape - A Zoologists study of the human animal"

Even the Kama Sutra(The Kama Sutra is an ancient Indian Hindu text widely considered to be the standard work on human sexual behavior in Sanskrit literature written by Vātsyāyana. A portion of the work consists of practical advice on sexual intercourse) gives plain insight into the constancy of women and the dispersive nature of men grin

The only society in which a woman has been allowed to be Polyandrous is the asian indians, and even there the tradition is slowly dying down.
i.e a woman having more than one husband at the same time.

Are women natuarlly promiscous? Sure! But not as much as men!
Are women naturally polyandrous? Look around you in your real world... What do you think? cool

Going by your analysis, We can say men are naturally promiscuous and not polygamous.

Your opinion anyways....

People I know do not defend such behaviors.
