The former governor shortly after he lost his freedom, following the refusal of the court to grant his bail application exclaimed, ‘you mean I’m now a prisoner.’ But the Deputy Chief Registrar of the Court, Solomon Akpedah who was handy responded swiftly to cool a heavily traumatised Jigawa born politician, as he quickly said ‘no sir, you are not a prisoner’ Justice Evelyn Anyadike while ruling on
the bail application said that all the four accused persons should be remanded in Kano prison pending the appointment of a vacation judge to decide the veracity and other wise of the application. Justice Anyadike said, “the case is hereby adjourned for hearing to September 28th, while the four accused persons are to be remanded in prison custody in Kano”. The trial Judge who explained that she was in Kano by Fiat, further ruled that “the case will be handed over to a vacation Judge to listen to the bail application while the Judiciary goes on vacation next Monday.

He was more like a chameleon, months before the Presidential Elections. He was never sure which colour of cloth to put on. PDP today, half-APC tomorrow. Serves him right for gambling on a PDP victory. All suckers, PDP, APC, or any other political party affiliation, will eventually be exposed and - hopefully - made to account for their deeds (or misdeeds). Shikena.

I pledge to Nigeria my country,to be faithful, loyal & honest,to serve Nigeria is not by force... But for our naija polithiefians,to serve Nigeria is by force. The court should jail him if he eventualy founds guilty but i knw he wil surely be granted bail.

The judge was smart enough to ensure the ball applications for the thief will not be heard till September, so he is in prison as we speak.

YES SIR, YOU ARE NOW A PRISONER....at least, for now.....he need to be told the truth, so he doesn't walk straight to the Airport from the court cheesy.....to even think he wanted to be the President, that he even likened GEJ to a madman with a lighter in a filling station undecided ....now I see EFCC as the madman and the court as the filling station, and he should pray the Judge final verdict doesn't sounds like fuel....cheesy grin
