FIFA has announced its world national team rankings for the month of July yesterday (Thursday).

The ranking has seen Argentina moved up two places to first ahead of Germany (2) and Belgium (3) after their Copa America final loss to Chile.
The last time Argentina came top was 7 years ago.

2014 World Cup winners Germany and Belgium are now placed in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Chile has moved 8 places up to stand as no. 11 after winning the Copa America.

Wales moved from 22 to 10 which is its best position ever in Fifa ranking.

England moved up to 9th behind Romania (

Portugal still maintains their 7th position.

France moved 13 places downward and are now placed 22nd.

Nigeria is now placed in 57.
