I bet half of the time it won't be rolling because of power failure. Our freedom lies in the ability to propel, energise and mechanise. Not just by relying on oyinbo/chinse efforts, but understanding how it works ourselves.

The world and the people in it has come a long but it feels like the Blackman just arrived. With no observations,no theories,no precedences,no language,no writings and no inventions.Where has the past gone?

Over here even inside phcn office light no dey for there dem dey take light nt to talk of a mall ok o
They hardly take light in malls cos there are standby generators to regulate the electricity.

At least i've noticed that in silverbird galleria in abuja and ceddi plaza.

What you guys don't know is that this is normal. Escalators are not common in Lagos. Fact! And, everyone gets excited when they see new, uncommon things.

Do you want me to post pictures showing how excited some people were when new plinths were erected at Trafalgar Square?

PS: when we tell you lot that Lagos is not a modern city - by world standard, you Lagosians get really annoyed. Last I checked, no pipe borne water in that gaddem city undecided

This is really sad, politicians have reduced some Nigerians mentality to zobo level because of misrule and denial of developments......In the 80,s kingsway stores on broad street in Lagos Island had an escalator,so wetin be all this?

You are a creature that has no rightful and constructive place in the world. All creatures, big, small or microscopic leaves indelible marks in world, but your likes are just useless, relying only on Jesus or Mohammad breathe. With eyes open, but stackly blind.

seriously I find this embarrassing! this should not be a topic to be created in the first place. You suddenly making Nigerians look like they're backward even tho we're in 2015. I imagine and cringe at wat other countries would say bout this if they were to see this topic.
C'mon! Its an escalator! stop making a big deal about it.. I know its relatively new in Nigeria.. but yet its still wat it is.. an escalator. damn angry
