This is Imakun Omi in Ogun waterside in Ogun state. It is a market where cheap commodities are sold

The most amazing part is that trade by barter still exist. Some women will come from I lake area of Ondo state, with basket of fishes and will be shouting " Eja Ogede o". Which means if you have plantain come and let us exchange with fish. While some will be shouting "Eja gaari o" that is to exchange fish with gaari.

Lalastic, I owe you FP today o

Human beings Jampacked like sardines on boats. You wouldn't believe there is a part of Nigeria still left far behind like this.

I don't get
You mean you haven't heard of trade by barter before? Even in social studies back then I was taught that it was the in thing in those days in Nigeria. More also between Nigeria and the Europe.

I thoughr they said they are civilised and sophisticated? But recent findings shows they are still as primitive as the days of afonja.

One wonders why they are so local, fetish and still live in mud houses?
