Is it that Igbos don't value Zik's contribution to their development and prestige as an ethnic group or what? Why couldn't the SE state governors pull their resources after all these years to complete the edifice? ?

well to answer your first question. Zik was Great Zik of Africa and not Zik of the Igbos. Zik was ONE NIGERIA personified. He did nothing, absoloutly nothing personal or special for the Igbos. To shock you many Igbos born around 90s do not know anything about him. Ojukwu's tomb was built even before his dead body was brought home by only one governor Mr Peter Obi of Anambra State.

Zik's tomb was started by federal government of Gen Sani Abacha from then till now... the picture I pested was GEJ/Peter Obi colabo that built it to that level.
