Why was the US against Jonathan?

Jonathan in the wake of the crashing dollar decided to diversify Nigeria's foreign reserves which was based on dollars to other currencies especially the Chinese RMB. Jonathan was also pushing the BRIC agenda in Africa.

So why will this bother the great United States? Because the United States needs other poor countries to accept their worthless paper currencies in other to shore it. With more countries dumping the dollar you can expect the dollar to revert to it's original value - paper!

It is through this heavily artificial wealth that the US has maintained its global hegemony in global economic affairs.

The two most vocal leaders in our time who voiced opposition to the dollar being the global currency are since long dead - Gaddafi of Libya and Chavez of Venezuela who was poisoned with a Cancer Virus.

The US crashed oil prices with the help of Saudi Arabia which up till now is still pumping more oil than is needed in the international market. If you think this is mere conspiracy theory then read this http://foreignpolicy.com/2015/06/03/saudi-arabia-takes-out-its-energy-weapon-opec-russia-putin-iran-oil/. It details how the Saudis on the behest of the US was able to usher in a regime change in Iran by flooding the energy market with cheap oil.

It doesnt stop there, the US also blocked all imports of Nigeria crude to further cripple the Nigerian govt of much needed cash. The US detailed the rise of Shale oil but that wasn't the case as Shale oil production became financially nonviable in the wake of cheap Saudi crude. You must also note that US energy demand has been dropping considerably since the last decade and this is not due to shale, excess crude or US reserves coming up stream but the simple fact that the US is still much in a very painful recession. The only thing the US has now is the dollar - take out the dollar and see the rot behind the capitalist fraud.

Obama was so desperate to get rid of Jonathan that he even loaned his personal campaign manager to Buhari and did all he could to promote Boko Haram insurgency in the north by blocking much needed military hardware to the Nigerian Army.

The "Nigeria is broke" lie

The current administration has a way of testing the waters when it comes to controversial issues such as negotiating an amnesty package for Boko Haram. This is exactly how they want you to believe that Nigeria is so hopelessly broke and that only solutions to cushion the effects will be:

1. Downsizing the public sector leading to mass unemployment

2. Privatization of Govt assets ( to be sold to western firms of course)

3. Further devaluation of the naira

4. Opening up of the economy to all manner of western goods including food.

5. Taking out an IMF loan package that will not in any way benefit the common man but will end up stashed in a western bank in Zurich thereby ensuring trans-generational poverty and enslavement to a corrupt loan package.

6. The loan which will be drawn out in dollars will ensure we work for the next 40 years trying to repay in dollars thereby enslaving us to the dollar. And with devaluation expected we will have to work 5 times much as we did to repay 1 dollar that is loaned.

This is the deal.

The APC and Buhari are set to sell us into slavery to the west.

You don't need to deal in dollars but rather trade in dollars to be a slave to JP Morgan.

During the Slave Trade era, the Europeans determined the medium of exchange.

Worthless iron rods called manilas alongside mirrors and whiskey were used as a means of exchange.

The British will later ban Manila trade thereby effectively crippling the economy of the natives.

The natives where thus left with over 20 million worthless manilas. It is at this point treaties where easily coaxed and signed.

Control the means of trade and you own a country.

It is that simple.

The only solution Buhari and the APC will sell to you is an IMF loan.

Rather than look at ways to promote local production to prevent wastage of our low forex reserves this administration will borrow to pay the rent on importing finished goods.

To show the total lack of sincerity by the APC led government, Buhari dipped into our low forex reserves to bailout States that are seriously indebt due to the ineptitude and corrupt ways of their respective governors.

This same debts where sourced from banks and the states are poised to default sooner or later. Remember that the liquidity taken out of circulation in granting this debt facility to states with nothing to show for ought to have been made available to genuine small and medium businesses to promote real growth! The rescheduling of the debt repayments was also outlined as one of the measures to help the states out. Now this means that lending interests rates will surely soar. But by far the most stupid thing about this bailout is that after dipping into our forex reserves to bail the states the CBN can not meet up with forex demands thereby putting more pressure on the naira which inevitably has since seen inflation rates soar.

This is change for you!

The next 40 yrs economic model for Nijeriya was drawn out in the board rooms of JP Morgan.

The APC is that agent recruited by Wall Street to ensure that the next 40 yrs we remain slaves to the worthless paper dollar. The likes of Buhari, Tinubu, Sanusi and Obasanjo are your new slave foremen.

We in the better south can not and should not allow our children to remain slaves because the Awusa and Yoruba like poverty.

It is time to leave for good.

If we stay you can bet it is our resources and sweat that will be used to float their plantation. We owe it to our children and grandkids to prevent their imminent slavery.

Themilanway you can remain a slave to the 10th generation but as for me I will not and never be a slave.

The Goodluck Administration was leading in providing direct investments incentives to China.

With your JP Morgan puppet expect all that to end.

The west will only offer Buhari their useless dollars in loans which the likes of Tinubu will help funnel back to a designated CIA controlled account.

The outgoing administration was committed to increasing China investment in Nigeria.

In 2011, Nigeria ranked a distant 3rd in trade and investment with China.

South Africa topped the list followed closely by Angola.

Speaking of Angola, this was a country that fought a brutal long drawn civil war over her mineral resources because the country was pro communist. The US with the aid of CIA operatives and asserts ensured that Angola slid into civil war than have the Soviets make any in roads into Africa's largest oil reserve nation.

This is why till this day the Angolan people never trust the US.

The west keeps complaining about China's economic in road to Africa as being exploitative even though African countries haven't had it this good since China arrived the continent.

The Chinnese offered a far more better plan the all European countries combined since the onsett of the African trade in the 15th century.

The West complains because they know they can't match China's deal offer. If anything, the advent of China as an equal business partner with African nations has bolstered raw commodity prices.

In typical western styled hypocrisy, the US and Europe see nothing wrong in dealing directly with China. China remains crucial to the west as a trade partner but when it comes to African-China trade relations the west has the audacity to claim that it is disastrous and exploitative to African countries, something the west has been doing for over 500 years without a single remorse.

The concluded WEF held in Abuja in May, 2014 saw China unveil a $42bn investment over the next 10yrs in the African continent with Nigeria expected to gulp the highest share of over $30bn in direct infrastructural investment, energy sector and manufacturing.

With the emergence of the newly appointed Colonial Governor of the Royal Niger Company aka Nigeria, expect to see Buhari cancel outrightly all Chinnese direct investments in preference to western loans from the IMF, World Bank and Paris Club.

Off course, all the newly borrowed money will be diverted with nothing on ground to show for it but debt for the next 40years.

When the truth about this administration finally dawns on us, it would be too late for us to turn back. Why do you think the west is compensating Jonathan with international positions? It's a well worked out plan that he himself knows about, explains the secret meetings he had with US officials in the run up, explains his concessionary attitude after the polls. He knew of what the west had planned to befall Nigeria if Buhari wasn't declared winner. Just like the Op pointed out, the West strategised really well for the elections, giving Tinubu Obama's media campaign manager, buying over the Nigerian media and giving us the impression that Buhari was the de facto winner of the polls even before the polls. Think of how the al majiris would have been unleashed on innocent citizens, think of how Nigeria would have gone up in flames if GEJ did what he had to do to win.
Now GEJ is the new bride of the West, am sure he may have been promised an international peace price.
What we know is just scrappings to the surface of the actual truth, but eh hwhat we're sure of is that we've officially entered 'one -chance ' with the West.
Who doesn't know the the West was highly uncomfortable with our new romance with China like the Op rightly said, they were also wary about our love-up with Russia in military hardware, when it became obvious that US and their cronnnies were not willing to play ball with us. Who didn't know also that the West were severally implicated in stoking the BH war. Nigerians are such a class gullible set. May God help generations to come cos this generation is already enslaved.

The WEF summit held in May, 2014 coincided with the climax of the #BBOG Sych OPs campaign of culmanny.

China was not deterred by all the noise and propaganda and insecurity and knew very well what all the rubish was about.

China went ahead to announce on the 3rd day of the summit the highest direct investment this country has ever recorded.

The Political and Economic hitmen got you all fooled.

Fast forward to today and China is avoiding Nigeria like a plague.

The last Chinese economic summit held in Kenya did not see Nigeria in attendance.

China has since cancelled the $30 bn direct investment secured by Jonathan since the dunce Buhari was sworn in.

America wants china to steer clear of Africa.

The west considers Africa as their turf. By frustrating china investments in Africa the West hopes to see China pack out once and for all.

China played a fast one on the west when they boycotted London commodity markets to secure deals directly with the resource nation.

With this talk of dumping the dollar, America and the west will be finished. It is African countries like Nigeria that still trade with the dollar that give the dollar some weight.

You must also stop living in a fantasy world as ethoreligious sentiments play a big role in everyday lives of Nigerians talk less of during every 4 yrs when it is time to go to the polls.

The Awusa religion dictates that we non muslims should never be entrusted with power. The Yoruba xenophobic and tribalistic jealousy dictates that we in the better south should come second to them.

Noted in agreement buh our brothers have been 'agitating' for decades and that's the limit we've gone, mere agitations. The world knows that those at the forefront of agitations are lily livered and not bold enough to make a complete and final push for what they want,. They know and it's obvious that our leaders' conscience can be bought for a penny, and as such water down the actualization of independence. They know that we of all the regions in Nigeria, we're the most divided and uncoordinated in our quest for a common goal, that's why the world is not perturbed by the street protests and noise being made. There is a name that the West, nay America fears and hates to be on the different side of the fence with. The fastest way to get independence and breakaway from the unholy union called Nigeria is to get them on your side: RUSSIA. They take no prisoners for their allies. Little wonder why the Western controlled Forbes magazine has named Vladimir Putin as the most powerful man for the second year running.
Cos the fact is to actualize independence anywhere in the world, you need a world power on your side. Ask South Sudan (France), ask Abkhazia and Ossetia (Russia), ask Palestine(US treading with caution). So of all the World powers, who is more likely to stand against the US? China has been more economy focused of late.

So you believe we can simply rely on china in providing loans in jump starting our economy , considering the recession china has been hit with lately , are you implying that we rely on a country for funds, rather than an international agency for loans ? Collecting loans is the first thing , holding the leaders accountable is another thing , whether you like it or not, if the loans are really used in diversifying the economy, and used for our much needed infrastructure such as rail, power and agriculture, NIgeria will be better off for it. The only problem I have with this might be IMF conditions for granting us the loan.

Buhari was specifically chosen by Washington for his stupid1ty.

His first major official function was to attend the G7 summit in West Germany where he could have been mistaken as a piece of furniture.

What came out from the G7 summit for Nigeria? Absolutely nothing but photos.

The next big tourist trip was to the White House to shake the PR spokesman of America Inc. - Obama.

This visit was touted as the mother of all diplomatic visits by the APC who stated that Buhari shaking Obama's hand was the greatest moment in Nigeria's history. Oshiomole even took his newly married ex Dubai ashewoe along.

What has come out from that visit? Absolute nothing.
