Bros am not sure Dick Cheney is on the article. The Vp mentioned here was ur former Vp who is an arrow head in the Halliburton scandal. And mind u the case has been concluded. Halliburton as a US corporation paid a fine for giving bride. Then part of the money is to be returned to Nigerian government but on the condition that those Nigerian officials mentioned will be prosecuted 1st, before US will return the money. Obj,Yar'adua and Jonathan did nothing about it. Now let's see how this one will go.

he should apply wisdom here,emphasis should be on recovery of loot. A few scape goats here and there would do but if he wants to go all out like he is being prodded to do by some,it would complicate things. He may even be consumed by the intrigues involved cos the persons involved are quite influential and even more powerful and would stop at nothing to sabotage the system.

This story is hilarious. OK the indicted companies didn't want to suffer any more legal battles with the FG so they entered a plea bargain with the FG for bribing Ex govt officials. Now they paid a fine and the fine itself was again looted!
