Buhari's action within the past month is the reason why African leaders would rather fight to the death than allow themselves to be disgraced and and ultimately killed by successors no matter the true outcome of any election. It also spells doom of what's going to happen after Buhari's tenure ends.
For GEJ, that's what happens when you watch too much American TVs showing loosers of elections calling the winner to congratulate them, and then naively ochestrate a so-called peaceful hand over. Once again, like GJU Ironsi, GEJ is learning the hardway: never trust Hausa/Fulanis more than your own people. It doesn't matter whether they're called Gowon, Danjuma, Dasuki, or even IBB. You lost the election the day you fired Patrick Aziza! You heard Dasuki confess how he had helped Buhari win Gowon was Iron's principal secretary, and now the rest is history.
Democracy works well when both winners and loosers understand the tenets of democracy, not when one is supersaturated with democratic idealism and the other is filled with vengeful megalomaniacal tendencies. GEJ failed to understand!

Did such an action say that the previous government should be corrupt? If the previous government was upright, there would be nothing to be afraid of.

Corruption or no corruption, that's why we have the courts, lawyers, and investigators. Buhari should not stop leading the country to new heights, because he wants to retaliate, investigate, and punish previous administration, because he will be setting a perpetually retrogressive perspective on governace.
Why would a future leader handover to an administration that would probe and disgrace him

Are you implying that a lawyer should come to his house and serve him court papers first? I think the proper thing is an arrest by security agents who in turn will interrogate and charge the case to court. Have you not seen that EFCC operative makes arrest first and then charge to court? Let's not be sentimental here Pls.

It shouldn't be that way. Buhari can still rule without all this retributive brohaha!
He should let the courts silently do their duty without making a circus of the whole thing!

The death of GEJ chief security officer if true simply makes my point

GEJ was anti South especially SW in order to pacify North and endear himself to them.
But North is North and they consider themselves political and autocratic savvy than South the same way South consider themselves academic savvy than North.

Book vs Politics

Agree 100%
Same with the SE, do you know how many he fired for frivolous allegations during his regime, because he wants to placate them, the north?mThat's why he misread the situation every step of the way!
