@Kadyz, very well then. @Bamisa, that is exactly what he asked me when i called him. He added though, asking me if i knew any lecturer at Ife who assists me in processing my admission. He sounded as though if u had not gotten any lecturer to help, ur chances are not assured, notwithstanding if u beat ur departmental cutoff mark. This has kept me worried, cos i barely know anybody there.

@johnpaul, one tin i knw abt OAU is dat if u beat d cut off mark, u er aready in. It only wen u did nt beat d cut off mark dat wen u really nid sumbody to process it for u. Like me now i did nt reach d cut off mark for my department, but i knw wit GOD all tins er possible.

I heard that the NASU strike is also delaying the release of the list.

What has NASU not got to do with the list? Or do you guys think the lecturers are responsible for admissions? Is the office of the registrar under ASUU or NASU? If my memory isn't failing me, NASU was also on strike when we went for the Post UME. And you guys could see the situation on ground. I hope they resolve it soon.

U're damn correct @Hanoobaba. This explained the total blackout we experienced during the exam. But the school has a worrisome history of strikes. Can't the union's demands be satisfied, at one time? This actually is what i hate about this school. They pride themselves as Nigerian best Uni, but internal peace keeps eluding them. I tire no be small ! They no av our interest at heart at all. See what pains they are visiting to us now. I want to cry!

The list is out but don't expect it to be pasted until the crisis is resolved. The list for the faculty of law came out with sheer luck. Those of other faculties will be pasted when NASU is ready.
