Before now it was not a big deal to give your ATM card to Anybody or throw it around in the sitting provided you alone know the PIN. But with the emergence and spread of e-Commerce and other online transactions keeping your debit card carelessly is now a risk you shouldn't dare to TAKE. This is because these websites only require your card number (the numbers on the front of your card), your CCV (the 3 digits at the back of your card), the card expiry date, etc. All these details are obtainable from your card and no PIN is required.
