Hey friends, is it true that I could choose a state of my choice if I am foreign-trained? And for the 2016 A batch is there like a concrete potential window when the orientation might likely occur? I have heard Jan/ Feb/ March and even April....And what's the progress with the guys passing out soon? When are they passing out , as that might be a pointer to when the A batch starts. I tried to negotiate an exemption due to the fact that even though i graduated about 3 months before my 30th birthdayI would be over 30 years by the time mobilization starts but my guy said an official said so far i was under 30 when i graduated, I must Serve.... Is this the case or is he just expecting some bribe of some sorts? Thanks.

I don't think Nigerian constitution actually support Dual Citizenship anyway else any military-like service experience with concrete evidence is an automatic exemption criterion

Yes you won't even see your state of origin and skul state of domicile on the screen as they would be removed already but you can only choose a state each from 3 out of the 6 geo-political zones as every other state in a particular zone is phased out immediately you pick one state from the zone in question.

Constitution actually doesn't preclude me from having a parallel citizenship, just probably prevents me from elective positions etc. I haven't undertaken the military training yet , just curious.
