Lol.... Where I go stay from sef? Some people dey vex say Uniport rank highest amongst 9ja unis.
Education, in my opinion, should be holistic. And graduates should be well-rounded human beings. Uniport offers a complete package-academics, enlightenment, exposure, social life etc and thus, wherever you see dia products (male or female), it's loads of grace and almost zero timidity.
And, contrary to popular belief especially in the so called traditional to 9ja unis, where intelligence/brilliance is almost always associated with haggard looks, being antisocial and swaglessness, in uniport you go see people wey, talk book matter dem dey, talk flexing dem sabi am, talk swag dem get am.
Uniport strike dat delicate balance joor. The two other schools wey come close in terms of dat balance na unilag and uniben.
Schools like u.i, oau, abu, unn have gud academic standard from wat I've heard but e be like say primitivity and old school syndrome dey worry dia products.
For unilorin, its dry and empty hypes; dia products get social imbalance, timidity and too little exposure/enlightenment. Only +ve tin der is because of uninterrupted academic calendar and I guess datz y people keep hustling to send dia wards there. Academically, derz notin remarkable about dem. Even heard religion is a hot topic der. lol

only one Nigerian university and its none of the Nigerian big guns, something is deficient about the research methodology, Uniport is a top 10 school here in nigeria agreed but is not among the top 6 at the very least here in nigeria talkless of 6th in Africa

well well well, the compilers of the list may av a point by using research as the criteria for the ranking. m sure many dont know the importance of research. its jst the same criteria for being a professor which is based on a certain number of research papers authored by the individual. so basically a uni that has a significant contribution towards research has the right to be included on that list.
