Senate Majority Leader, Mohammad Ali Ndume has attacked former Senate President David Mark saying that the Mark ran the 7th Senate as a beer parlour joint where everyone engaged in frivolous discussion in the hallowed chamber.

Speaking with National Assembly correspondents in his office, he stressed that during Mark’s tenure, the plenary lacked all sense of decorum and many Senators talked at a time.

Speaking Ndume said: “I’m sorry to say this; the 7th Senate, when conducting proceedings used to be like beer parlour discussions where everybody talks anyhow.”

He stated that the current Senate would be different and would do things differently so as to support government in effecting changes that it promised Nigerians.
