A man is reportedly ‘suing' his newly married wife
for trauma her odd appearance caused him, after
seeing her without make up for the first time, the day after their wedding.

The unnamed couple was said to have had their first night together, after getting married in Algeria.

According to Emirates 247:

“He said he was deceived by her as she used to fill up her face with make up before their marriage. “He said she looked very beautiful and attractive before marriage, but when he woke up in the morning and found that she had washed the make-up off her face, he was frightened as he thought she was a thief.”

The man is suing for fraud and psychological
suffering which he billed at £13,000.

How is it possible for him not to have known what the wife would look like without a make-up? Did they court at all?

Although make-up transforms and enhances a woman's beauty thereby masquerading her natural visages I find it hard to believe that someone wouldn't be able to tell or picture what a woman would look like without enhancements. A pretty woman is pretty, and one should be able to decipher that even with make-up applied. And likewise for the not so pretty ones.

He has no case here and the woman is not liable for charges or indictment as there's no law that states women shouldn't use body enhancement and she didn't contravene any decree. The man should lick his wounds.
